SYNOPSIS

Scott has been teaching improvisation for voiceover (and on camera) for 12 years.  His teaching philosophy  is “If it’s not fun ....why bother?”

The curriculum he has developed is designed to build confidence through early and frequent success. He believes confidence is crucial for achieving goals in acting and in life. This program aims to help students understand how improvisation skills can create believable and honest characters across various voiceover genres. including animation, video games, audiobooks, commercials and more.

This class will prioritize hands-on experience behind the microphone over lecturing. It's a fast-paced learning experience that incorporates multiple techniques, drills, and mock auditions to enhance students' comfort levels and encourage them to trust their instincts. Actors will leave with new or sharper improv skills and  be better equipped to compete for more voiceover opportunities.
