SYNOPSIS

This class will feature a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Lisa Zambetti, followed by a prepared reading session.

Participating actors will prepare and perform a scene that will be assigned by the casting director ahead of class. 

BIO

Lisa Zambetti, CSA is a three-time Artios nominated casting director for tv, film, commercials, and video games. She cast the long running CBS series Criminal Minds as well as the spin off Beyond Borders and was also on the casting team for the critically acclaimed FX pilot Reservation Dogs. She was nominated in 2023 as "Casting Director of the Year" for her work in the Video Game genre. She’s worked on many AAA video games including Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Indiana Jones: The Great Circle. Lisa has cast many award-winning independent films and is casting projects for Amazon Audible and Skydance Media. Lisa is an active member of the Casting Society's Equity in Entertainment branch. She is also on the advisory board for Hire Survivors Hollywood. Lastly as an acting teacher, Lisa is proud to be on faculty at UCLA and has also taught for USC, UC Santa Barbara, Cal State East Bay, Wright State, San Jose State University, University of Cincinnati, Whitman College, Pace University and The Actors Studio MFA program in New York City.
