ABOUT JOSH

JOSH SASSANELLA was born and raised in Indiana and fell in love with the performing arts at an early age. After attending Purdue University in Ft. Wayne, he quickly found success as an actor in theme parks and aboard major cruise lines before moving into large-scale theatrical productions.

He went on to perform in major musicals nationwide, including Mamma Mia! at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Smokey Joe's Cafe and Xanadu at Music Theatre Wichita, Rent at Forestburgh Playhouse, the world premiere of High School Musical 2 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, the first National Equity Tour of Rock of Ages, and later, Broadway itself in Rock of Ages and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.

Josh’s time on stage — often covering multiple leading roles, swinging complex productions, and working closely with creative teams — gave him a deep understanding of how actors present themselves, tell stories, and capture attention in competitive spaces. That insight now fuels his work offstage: developing the pitch materials that help actors open doors across theatre, television, and film.

Whether for seasoned performers with established credits or emerging talent ready to break through, Josh applies his firsthand knowledge of casting dynamics and storytelling to craft résumés, reels, and narratives that spark interest from casting directors and creatives across mediums.
